I would like to share with you about my faith in Jesus Christ as my personal
Lord and Saviour. The best way I can start is by sharing with you an article
written by Jodi Swain. Jodi is a dear friend, as well as writer for the Star Ledger
and the Shield Newsletter for the Faith Evangelical Free Church. Following is the
article Jodi wrote after seeing a ministry show I was blessed to be able to bring to
Faith EFC for Easter. Thank you Jodi, for such a wonderful article. But, especially
Thank-you Jesus for blessing me with sharing about you thru the gift of
this clowning ministry that you have given me.

On April 14, FEFC (Faith Evangelical Free Church) played
host to the surrounding community. More than 80 people, many
of whom were visitors, converged on the new building on Route 33
for the church's first ever Easter Egg Hunt on the Saturday before
Resurrection Sunday. They were treated to delicious pot luck
breakfast, provided by church-goers, followed by a special performance
        of Gitsy the Rainbow Lady.
In her fun ministry way that captivates children's attention, she
explained the reason that Easter is so important to the crowd and why
they were there to celebrate it. Lively music, jokes and constant audience
participation by assisting with Bible songs and "tricks for the eyes"
maintained the kids' attention throughout. "Whenever I do a ministry show,"
she says, "I tell the children this is not magic; the only one who can perform
miracles is God. 'This is only tricks and puzzles for your eyes that help
you get a visual for learning God's Word."

Gisty told the youngsters that God loved them so much that
He sent His only son Jesus to die on the cross for them.
        Referring
to one of the "magic" tricks mingled throughout 45-minute program,
she pointed out that the spots on handkerchiefs represent people's sin.
She added that only Jesus can take away their sins, and they have
to ask Him both to come into their heart and to forgive them.

Audience input helped her describe that Jesus died on the cross and
was wrapped in cloth and placed in a tomb.
        Gitsy said only He can
give us salvation because He was the sinless son of God
        . A slight
of hand, however, provided a memorable illustration of what happened when
the stone was rolled away on the third day—Jesus was [and is] risen!
In concluding, she addressed the question, "What is a Christian?"
When her explanations turn out to fall short, she discovered the answer,
written on a banner. It read that Christians have Christ in them; they
have received Him as their personal saviour and prayed to God
and confessed their sins, acknowledged that His grace alone
leads to Heaven and have dedicated their lives to Him.

Has the audience done this, she asked?

Below are some scripture verses that I hope you will read and pray about:

1 Corinthians 15:22 - For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

John 14:6 - Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me

John 3:14-15 - Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 3:17 - For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

Psalm 63:1 - O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Philippians 4:6-7 - Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Romans 12:1-2 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God--this is your spiritual act of worship.
Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Proverbs 3:11-12 - My son, do not despise the LORD's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.

John 15:12-13 - My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

2 Peter 3:9 - The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

        (scripture quoted from the NIV)

I pray these verses have touched your heart to let you know that God is real.
He is the LIVING God and loves you incredibly.

completely sinless and that thru HIM is the only way to Heaven.

Thank you, Jesus, for dying in my place and forgiving my sins.
